WHY OUR SUBOXONE TREATMENT CAN WORK FOR YOU

At Houston Suboxone Clinic, we care about every patient that comes to us, so we take the time to get to know our patients. When you have your appointment with a Suboxone doctor, we complete an initial evaluation to learn more about you, and then create a customized treatment plan that is tailored to your needs and recovery goals. Our treatment program not only focuses on opiate addiction, but we also assist with other aspects of your life. We want you to learn what your triggers are and how to handle them, and discover what type of environment is most appropriate for recovery. Our goal is to set you up for success, so you can live a positive and substance-free life

HOW SUBOXONE® WORKS?

As an FDA-approved medication assisted treatment, Suboxone® is used to treat individuals with an opiate addiction. It is a combination of both Buprenorphine, a partial opiate agonist, and Naloxone, an opiate antagonist. Buprenorphine prevents opiates from binding to receptors on the brain and Naloxone eliminates the opiate effects and reduces withdrawal symptoms. Altogether, Suboxone® decreases cravings and provides you with comfort and a clear mind during recovery.

Other medications offered at Houston Suboxone Clinic include Vivitrol and Subutex. The type of medication assisted treatment is determined by your Suboxone doctor after a complete evaluation and review of recovery goals.
